Field of activity

• My research interests lie at the interface between cosmology and astrophysics and focus on the large-scale structure of the Universe, galaxy formation, and the physics of the intergalactic medium.
• I am leading the "Large-Scale Structure of the Universe" research group at the Argelander-Institut für Astronomie of Bonn University.

Role in the SFB

• I am the Principal Investigator of project C4 'Star Formation and Feedback in Simulations of Galaxy Formation'.
